Artlinx LLC has established two web sites to serve those involved in the business of art including artists, art dealers, and art collectors. The site, TheArtBlog, provides a forum for the discussion of important issues in the business of art. The site features articles and commentary on art, the economics of the art world, and business practices in that world as well as on leading artists, current exhibits and events. Reader response is encouraged.
The other Artlinx web site, TheArtSource, contains an Online Gallery representing the work of carefully selected artists. It addition, this site provides information on sources of a wide variety of art products, materials and services.
The focus of TheArtBlog and TheArtSource will initially be on the Southwest and Rocky Mountain regions with particular emphasis on Colorado and New Mexico. Expansion of this focus is planned in the future.
